Great little card came with everything you would need for transfering data and or music, pictures what ever. Nice package and the price was right.
A full step above the other card readers

This small package works. I have many others (cheaper, prettier, etc.) but I finally bought this Sony after all my others failed on one card or another. I was tired of trying adapters. My built in readers were hit-and-miss.

This Sony works perfectly. We recommend it to everyone.
Works very well

It works on the two camera digital memory cards that I have. It doesn't read my phone sim card.
Good product - misleading information

I've owned an earlier version of this reader for several years and it's worked very well, and been very helpful.

However, the description here in Amazon didn't include the cards this device supports, and after much digging we found a list that reported this specific model supports xD cards for Olympus and Pentax digital cameras, among many others.

After I sent it as a gift for a new Olympus camera owner, he finds out it does NOT support xD -- and had to go through the hassle of sending it back.

TO AMAZON: one of the ESSENTIAL elements needed in card reader descriptions is WHICH CARDS THE DEVICE SUPPORTS... and that it be ACCURATE.
Very Neat

I have a Sony camera that allows you to store an album on your memory card for slideshows so I can show off the grandmother pictures to the lunch group. Works great! I have any number of sony cameras so I can load pictures from any of them. I'm still trying to figure out if it will take compact flash cards, perhaps one needs the # 17 for that!
