Great little product

I love this little thing. When outside the case, it's unbelievably tiny. Been using this (plus a 2GB microSD card) for 8 months in my Vista laptop as my dedicated "ReadyBoost" USB flash drive, and it works beautifully.
I picked it because it looked so tiny, and I wanted the least obtrusive thing I could find since it would be sitting in one of my USB ports all the time. It certainly has not disappointed: it's roughly the width and thickness of the _metal part_ of a standard USB A-type connector, and roughly a little less than twice as long as same. So when it's plugged in, the exposed piece portion is very small. Even though my laptop only has USB ports on the side (none on the back), I don't even notice it's there - although that's partially due to the fact that that USB port is jammed right up next to the power cable.
It fills its intended purpose beautifully, and it's very useful otherwise. Having a tiny, high-capacity thumb drive always at hand (no need to search through drawers or bags) is very convenient; I've used it to quickly transfers large files to other XP and Vista computers with nary a hitch. Plus, my phone uses MicroSD to store music, so I can quickly swap files to-and-from the phone without having to locate the USB cable.
And the price is amazing.
(Oh, and just so I don't mislead, you obviously need a separate microSD card to make this thing useful. But those are extremely cheap right now, and you can get a bundle that includes this USB adapter and a microSD card for a really good price). |
If You Have Vista and A 4GB MicroSD Card You Need This

| I bought a 4GB MicroSD card for my BlackJack 2 cell phone - I didn't know that Vista cannot read a 4GB card without installing a 3rd party patch..I ordered this and it works perfect, now I can have any files that I want on my phone. A must have!! |

| Works great, no problems. Very tiny and cool looking, its amazing how the little micro SD card can hold 8GB and this reader makes the whole thing super cool with its micro size. I recomend it! Looks cool and works great, oh and it's cheap! |

| I love this little USB drive. I didn't think I would but I do. I have a Sansa MP3 player that takes a microSD card. This is device is small and compact and makes it easy to load music onto the microSD card and then onto my MP3 player. It is just simple. Simple is good. |
Use with 2GB card, no problems

I have 1.39 GB of a 2 GB card in use and have no problems with this device (contrary to the problems the prior reviewer noted).
I transfer data to an micro SD card used in an LG VX9900 'env' phone with no problems. Easy way to move .jpg and .3g2 files back & forth from phone & laptop.
Device is very small & easy to lose, so I attached a laniard. |
